A tech picks the job and taps Clock In. DayReport records the location and the time, and the time comes from the server, not the phone, so it cannot be changed on the device. They can write up the day, add photos and materials while clocked in.
At Clock Out the location and time are recorded again, the hours are rounded to the quarter hour, and the shift is saved to the timecard right away. The tech can finish the write-up then or later from History.
The hours, job, date and work type on a clocked entry come from the clock and the technician cannot change them. An admin can correct a clocked entry, but a reason is required and the change is shown on the timecard beside the original clocked hours.
